Scales defined
Scale is simply a dimensionless ratio of model size relative to real size.
The scale of 1:50 is the most common for construction machinery models
which means the real machines are 50 times larger than the model. If the model is
1 foot long, the real machine is 50 feet long. On this list,
we drop the "1" and print 50 for 1:50 scale models. Popular scales from
largest to smallest:
