Shows, Expos & Conventions

The following are events that we will be either exhibiting, attending or the show simply deserves the extra attention.  Shows are a great way to meet fellow enthusiasts, collectors and friends.  Below are both shows for real machinery and toys and models.  Toy shows/swap meets used to be the main way for collectors to find models for their collections but since the advent of the internet they have shrunk considerably.  The toy shows that are doing well now are more than just a swap meet.  They are fun events that also offer seeing things you would never see otherwise.  These shows include seeing real equipment, custom models, radio controlled models and the opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts to discuss the latest news or laugh over jokes with.  Just make sure to bring your camera to these shows!

1/1/1902 Modelshow Europe The best European modelshow in the field of Heavy haulage, cranes and construction equipment! A must see! More than 280 exhibitors showing their models (scale 1:87, 1:50, 1:24, 1:16 and larger). 1/1/1902 Brockway Truck Preservation Assn annual show Early August Truck show in Cortland, NY for the Brockway trucks www.brockwaytrucks.org Location: CORTLAND, NY   USA
8/5/2009 Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club National Show August 5-8 2009 The National show for the ACMOC club. These shows feature vintage Caterpillar machinery of all types both on display and working. www.acmoc.org Location: Canandaigua, NY   USA
9/1/2010 IMCATS - International Model Construction & Truck Show September or October, 2010 This is the only show of its kind in North America. Dealers from all over and also custom model builders and working models. www.imcats.com Location: CLARENCE, NY   USA
9/10/2010 Historical Construction Equipment Association Convention September 10-12, 2010 The national show for the HCEA. This is a great opportunity to see many vintage pieces of construction equipment operating or on display. The shows also include a sale area for models & memorabilia. www.hcea.net Location: RICHMOND, RI   USA
3/22/2011 CONEXPO March 22-26, 2011 The show to attend to see the real equipment. This show is huge and takes several days to see everything. Held every 3 years in Las Vegas. Check out their web site to see pictures of previous shows. www.conexpoconagg.com Location: Las Vegas, NV   USA
